April Tieu graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in the Fall of 2011 with a BA in Sociology. She currently works as a Community Engagement Marketing Analyst for OXY Petroleum in Houston, TX. April was a student at YLC for two years (2005, 2006) and mentored for three years (2010, 2012, 2013). She has grown a love for YLC and what it does for the students and am glad to be part of the Executive Board. She loves country music and listens to it from morning to night, eating m&m peanuts all day, and running until her legs can’t run anymore.

Richey Nguyen Delgado attended University of Houston. He is currently working as the Assistant Store Manager at Celine in Houston, TX. Richey has been a part of YLC for 6 years, as a mentor for 3 years (2011-2013), advisor for 2 years (2014,2017), Program Director in 2015, and board member since 2011. He has an everlasting passion for YLC. He believes that the platform of YLC to change students lives is one in a million. He loves country music, country dancing, playing flag football and golf, coffee shops, and spending time with his YLC family!

Alex is currently a Relationship Manager at Amegy Bank in Houston, Texas. Alex graduated in 2011 from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Economics. Alex attended YLC as a student in 2004 and 2005 and returned as a mentor in 2017. Alex strives to continue and strengthen the tradition of YLC, as he is passionate about its ability to empower the youth in the community that he so dearly loves. In his leisure time, Alex enjoys exploring new places, learning new ideas, and laughing with loved ones.

Kevin graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014 with dual BBA degrees in the Business Honors Program and Finance. He currently works at Deloitte Consulting. He is starting his 9th year with YLC, having previously been involved as a student, conference assistant, mentor, and board member. He firmly believes in the mission of YLC because of how transformative his own experience was as a student and is committed to paying it forward for future generations. In his free time, he is usually jetsetting to the next country on his travel bucket list or continuing on his insatiable quest to find the next best restaurant.
VP of Community Relations
Jenny is a Project Manager for the Greater Houston Partnership. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in International Relations and Government. Jenny first joined YLC in 2012 and is excited to transfer her professional skills in economic development and networking to the Community Relations role, where she will act as the liaison and spokesperson between YLC and the local community. In her free time, Jenny enjoys sunbathing with her pet chihuahua, Kiba, while enjoying a milk tea drink from the nearest boba joint.

Cindy is a Senior Merchandise Analyst at Charming Charlie. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in Supply Chain Management. Cindy began her involvement at YLC in 2016 as a mentor and has expanded her involvement as a board member. On her free time, she enjoys spending time at coffee shops, exploring new hotspots and hobbies, playing sand volleyball, and using her ClassPass.

Khoa Hoang graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 with a B.S. in Construction Science. He currently works at Walker Engineering as an Electrical Designer. Khoa has been involved with YLC as a mentor since 2017. On his free time, Khoa enjoys traveling the world, cooking, eating good food, and cheering on his Oklahoma Sooners.

Katherine Chung graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with a B.A. in Business Administration, majoring in Supply Chain Management. She currently works at Phillips 66 as an Inventory Control Analyst within the Procurement function. Katherine has been involved with YLC as a mentor (2014, 2016) and is excited to start this new chapter as a board member because she strongly believes in YLC’s mission to empower and develop students’ leadership capabilities. In her free time, she loves traveling to experience different cultures, reading a good book, crafting, and spending time with close friends and family.
