Aaron Chang
Aaron graduated from the University of Houston with a BS in mechanical engineering. He is a design engineer for Veristic Technologies. He has participated in YLC since 2001 as a mentor, liason, volunteer, board member, VP of Operations, and now as president. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys being a DJ and is also an Eagle Scout.
VP of Operations
Debra Lin
Debra graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Children and Society. She currently works at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and previously completed an internship at the National Domestic Violence Hotline. She will be attending medical school in the fall. Debra has participated in YLC as a student, mentor, board member, and is currently the VP of Operations.
Mentor Director
David Tang
David Tang graduated from the University of Texas in the year 2005 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He has been working as an embedded software developer at Halliburton Energy services in the great city of Houston. He is currently this year’s Mentor Director for YLC. When David is not at work he likes to hit the slopes on his snowboard, as most of his vacation days are spent either in Denver, Utah, or northern California. When he is not at work… and not on the slopes… he likes to relax at home with friends, cook, play Call of Duty 4/5, listen to the Foo Fighters and eat Mini Sirloin Burgers.
Program Director
Jane Vora
Jane is a graduate of Wellesley College with a degree in Economics and a minor in Women’s Studies. Jane works as an online marketing consultant for small businesses and non-profits. Prior to becoming Program Director, Jane participated in YLC 4 years as a student and 3 years as a mentor. Jane is currently serving her second year as Program Director. Jane enjoys rock climbing, running, and eating.
Treasurer
Ming-Chieh Hsueh
Ming graduated from University of Houston with BA in business administration. He is currently a Masters student and a teaching assistant in Accountancy at the University of Houston. He was a former student of YLC in high school and now, a mentor and treasurer. In his spare time, Ming enjoys gaming, strumming on the guitar, and swimming.
Secretary
Cassandra Diep
Cassie graduated from Rice University, with a degree in Kinesiology and concentration in Health Sciences. She is currently a graduate student in Health Education at Texas A&M University, where she also works at the Institute for Obesity Research and Program Evaluation as a research assistant. Cassie has participated in YLC since 2006 as a mentor and now serves as secretary. When not busy with school or YLC, Cassie enjoys baking, watching reality TV, and soaking in the small town experience.
Community Relations
Jerry Hu
Jerry recently graduated from the South Texas College of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his degree in Political Communications and Asian American Studies. Jerry has been involved with YLC in various roles for over six years and is truly inspired by the mission that YLC hopes to achieve. He currently works as an attorney for a local litigation boutique.

Tommy Ma
Tommy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Communications Studies degree and a minor in Business. He is a huge sports fan and enjoys going out with friends. Tommy has been a part of YLC as a mentor multiple times and also enjoys being a board member.
Registrar
Gordon Chang
Gordon graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2004 with a degree in Psychology. He is the current inventory manager of Asia Chemical Corp., Inc., a plastic resin distribution company. He has been a part of YLC for 5 years as a mentor and board member. He enjoys playing basketball, guitar, and board games..
VP of Technology
Theo Vora
Theo is the Systems Administrator for Veristic Technologies. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s in Computer Science. A longtime computer geek, he can often be seen hopping the fence between PCs and Macs and occasionally testing (read: destroying) new gadgets. Theo has served with the YLC Board since 2007..
