Hey everyone, this is Judy Hong (your friendly Program Director) and
welcome to this year’s Cafe Y!

***BEWARE: This year’s Café Y is going to blow your mind!! Why?!
Because, in addition to our normal amazing talent, we are looking for
creative…out-of-the-ordinary…INNOVATIVE talents to match this year’s
theme: “Don’t Hate, INNOVATE!”

We are looking for 2 categories of “Innovative” talents:

#1: Short, 1-30 second Talents –
Examples: People who can…
• Lick their elbows
• Burp the alphabet
• Bend themselves to fit into a box
• Beat boxers
…these skilled performers will be lined up and going down the line, each
talent will be displayed.

#2 Longer 1-5 minute Talents –
Examples: Those who can…
• Spoken word poets
• Harmonic players
• Yo-yo Artists
• Magicians
• Those who can sing…like a dolphin!
• Those who can play piano…with their feet!

But, of course, anyone and everyone is encouraged to apply to be in Café Y.
We will also include those that are just plain talented, in any department/
style/classification. Come one, come all!
