Orchid Banquet 2010
Every year, YLC hosts a banquet to honor community leaders who have made a difference in the upbringing of our youth today. Each year, a flower is picked to showcase the theme of the banquet and to signify
life’s delicateness and the strength of beauty within. At the banquet, YLC hosts an average of 200 guests, of friends and family, to appreciate our deserving community leaders by recognizing and awarding them as an honoree of our community. For the ceremony, dinner is provided and a silent auction is also held to help raise funds for YLC.
This year, the Orchid Banquet will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 and will honor Mr. Hoang Quan Vu, a prominent and respectable Asian American attorney in the Houston area. All proceeds from the banquet will go towards our 2010 Youth Leadership Conference to be held at Rice University in June.
