Tim Hsu has been with YLC as a student, mentor, and a board member altogether for many years. We asked him to tell us what he likes about YLC and what YLC means to him.

Being a part of YLC for the past four years, my involvement has varied from a volunteer to actually being on the board. But what always draws me back to the organization is having the chance to be a mentor. Having the chance to inspire and motivate a student to become a leader is invaluable. I believe we have been successful because we are able to present these leadership skills to the students in a fun and exiting way. We give them a nurturing environment where these skills can develop and grow. And by surrounding them with their own peers, we give them the experience of working and interacting in a team setting. I am glad I’m a part of YLC and hope it will continue to grow and develop as time passes.
